1. Heat dissipation and cooling of transformer rooms

On May 13th, relevant institutions in Tianjin began drafting the "Tianjin Electric Power Facility Protection Regulations", based on the results of the research on local legislation projects for Tianjin electric power facility protection organized by the Tianjin Economic and Information Commission in Fujian and Shandong.

It is understood that in February 2011, the Tianjin Municipal People's Government and the Standing Committee of the Municipal People's Congress listed the "Tianjin Electric Power Facility Protection Regulations" as a legislative research project for the year 2011.

The current "Tianjin Electric Power Facility Protection and Management Measures" (hereinafter referred to as the "Measures") were promulgated and implemented by the Tianjin Municipal Government in 1995. The Measures have played a positive role in combating theft, damaging power facilities, and preventing external damage. However, with the further deepening of the reform of the power system, the "Measures" can no longer meet the needs of the development of the situation, especially the prominent issues of administrative law enforcement entities and their low effectiveness level, which urgently require legislative improvement. Therefore, in 2010, Chen Zhifeng, Vice Chairman of the Tianjin Municipal Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference, and the person in charge of the Tianjin Municipal Commission of Economy and Information Technology visited Tianjin Electric Power Company for research and provided affirmation and support for the legislative work of the Tianjin Electric Power Facility Protection Regulations. Yang Dongliang, Executive Vice Mayor of Tianjin Municipal Government, and Wang Zhiping, Vice Mayor, issued important instructions in the information special report on "Suggestions for Strengthening the Protection of Electric Power Facilities": to carry out the legislative work of the "Regulations on the Protection of Electric Power Facilities in Tianjin" as soon as possible, in order to serve the economic development of Tianjin. The relevant departments of the city attach great importance to it and have established specialized leadership groups and administrative agencies to actively promote legislative work and create a good legal environment for the economic and social development of Tianjin.
